CUT-ONCE BOARDWORKS

Cut-Once Boardworks is the concept of carpenter and surfer Jacques Raymond.  

 

"When I was growing up my Dad was a designer and a mad inventor and he would make prototypes in our workshop at home. When he'd finished I'd use his offcuts and tools to make cool things with my mates, like go karts or water rafts.

 

I followed my passion and studied Model Making & Visual Effects, then worked as a set builder, carpenter and project manager for photoshoots, music videos, TV shows and movies, as well as custom builds for private clients.

 

I've been running my own carpentry company, Cut- Once Woodworks, based in Kent, since 2017.

With Cut-Once Boardworks I want to share my passion for the two things I love to do, making and surfing.

 

If you surf you know that catching a wave is one of the best feelings. But let me tell you, catching a wave on a board you have made yourself is even better."
